About ReBa Yoga

ReBa Yoga is about bringing back a natural sense of balance in body, mind and everyday life. The name comes from ‘Restore Balance’, reflecting my belief that yoga isn’t about perfect postures, pushing yourself harder or achieving a particular look. It is about creating time to move, breathe, slow down and reconnect with yourself.

There is already so much pressure to be, look and achieve a certain way. ReBa offers something different: a space to listen to your body, reduce stress, move with kindness and come away feeling more grounded and connected to yourself.

About ReBa Yoga classes

ReBa classes are gentle, welcoming and unpressured.

I teach mainly Hatha yoga, blending mindful movement with breathwork, relaxation and quieter practices to help you feel calmer, stronger and more grounded.

You don’t need to be flexible, experienced or able to achieve a particular pose. I offer options throughout, so you can listen to your body and practise in a way that feels right for you.

Classes are designed to give you space to move, breathe and reset, without comparison or pressure to perform.

Sometimes I will weave in gentle Vinyasa flow, Yin-inspired practices, or Yoga Nidra, with dedicated Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra sessions added as they become available.

Upcoming themed classes and special sessions will be shared on the Yoga Classes page and on ReBa Yoga social media.

Slowing things down

ReBa Yoga also has quieter practices that work in very different ways.

Yin Yoga is still and often intense in a completely different way to Hatha. Postures are held for several minutes, usually close to the floor, creating sustained load through the connective tissues while giving the mind time to settle into stillness.

Restorative Yoga is not about stretch at all. The body is fully supported with bolsters, blankets and other props so muscular effort can drop away. The aim is deep rest, comfort and nervous-system down-regulation.

Yoga Nidra is different again. It is a guided practice, usually taken lying down, which leads you through stages of awareness towards very deep physical and mental relaxation while remaining consciously present.

Together, these practices offer different ways to slow down: through stillness, support and guided rest.
